Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Lidl’s sustainability and CSR strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s core values and business goals.
• Develop and implement environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies that reduce Lidl’s carbon footprint and enhance its community impact.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate sustainability initiatives into business operations and strategy.
• Engage with stakeholders, including NGOs, governmental bodies, and communities, to foster positive social impact.
• Monitor and report on sustainability performance and achievements.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
• At least 8–10 years of experience in sustainability leadership roles, preferably within retail or consumer goods.
• Expertise in ESG reporting, environmental impact assessment, and CSR strategies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluency in English and German.
