Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations across Kaufland’s stores and distribution centres.
• Oversee strategic planning for inventory management, procurement, transportation, and warehouse operations.
• Analyse and optimise supply chain processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless product flow and stock availability.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with Kaufland's sustainability goals.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong understanding of logistics systems, inventory management, and transportation.
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence and cost-efficiency in a large-scale retail environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
