Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies across Allianz’s global operations.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks impacting the company.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices in all risk-related activities.
• Work closely with executive leadership to align risk management strategies with business objectives and growth plans.
• Oversee risk reporting, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage a team of risk management professionals and foster a strong risk-aware culture within the organisation.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in risk management or a senior financial role, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Extensive knowledge of risk management frameworks, compliance regulations, and insurance industry practices.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to work across different levels of the organisation.
• Fluency in English and German.
