Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational management of Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH’s public transportation services, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Manage the maintenance, renewal, and expansion of the infrastructure, including railways, bus stations, and depots.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving operational performance, customer satisfaction, and cost-efficiency.
• Lead the operations team, ensuring the implementation of best practices and adherence to regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with governmental bodies and stakeholders to align with public transportation policies and regulations.
• Manage large-scale projects related to infrastructure development and fleet management.

Qualifications

• A degree in Transport Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in public transport or infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of the public transportation sector, including regulatory compliance, safety, and efficiency measures.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on infrastructure development and team leadership.
• Fluency in German and English.
