Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) technologies to strengthen Volkswagen’s position as a leader in sustainable mobility.
• Oversee R&D projects focused on battery technology, autonomous driving systems, and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EV solutions into existing and future vehicle models.
• Drive partnerships with external technology companies, research institutions, and government bodies.
• Ensure all projects meet safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Represent Volkswagen at global automotive conferences and trade shows, showcasing advancements in EV technology.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in EV development or R&D leadership.
• Expertise in battery systems, renewable energy technologies, and autonomous driving innovations.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
