Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Supply Chain Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supply chain management, strong analytical abilities, and a focus on improving efficiency and reducing costs.


Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain, including cost reduction, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Procurement Management: Oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials and products, ensuring that the right quantities are purchased at the best possible price and quality.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Logistics Coordination: Ensure the smooth transportation and distribution of goods, coordinating with third-party logistics providers, and managing shipping and warehousing operations.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring products are stocked in accordance with demand forecasts, minimizing waste and stockouts.
  • Demand Planning: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align supply chain activities with customer demand and business objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead time, order accuracy, and costs, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing coaching, training, and support to ensure performance goals are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, issues, and improvements to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications like APICS CPIM preferred).

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and supply chain management tools.
