Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our production facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, with a focus on optimizing production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and managing a team. As the Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Production Line: Oversee the daily operations of the production line to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and train production staff to ensure high performance, productivity, and safety standards.
- Production Planning: Coordinate with the production planning team to ensure schedules and deadlines are met.
- Quality Control: Monitor production quality and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain product standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of materials and ensure the availability of resources for production.
- Troubleshooting: Address any production issues or bottlenecks in real time to minimize delays.
- Reporting: Maintain and submit production reports on performance, efficiency, and any issues that arise during production.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for continuous improvement in the production process and propose solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with production machinery and manufacturing processes is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve production issues quickly.
- Solid understanding of production scheduling and inventory management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or other production management software.
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
