Key Responsibilities

• Lead the risk management department, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Develop and implement risk policies and procedures to ensure the bank’s resilience and compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with senior management to integrate risk management strategies into the bank’s overall business plan.
• Monitor and analyse emerging risk trends, providing proactive solutions to minimize impact.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting, maintaining strong relationships with regulators and auditors.

Qualifications

• A degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in risk management, ideally within the banking sector.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
